View The New United Home Kit For 2010-11 released 15th July 2010

Take a good look at Manchester United‘s new home shirt, complete with new sponsor Aon's logo.
Does it remind you of anything from the past. It has a bit of a throw back element to it. It resembles many of the kits worn by United in the late 1970s and 1980s, Rumour has it that this was the intention of the designers behind this launch. I think its a fine representation of what a United kit should look like in my honest opinion although the logo spoils it a bit. It’s a vast improvement on last season’s American style chevron design.
The Pr company behind the launch say that -
Nike tried very hard to tried very hard this season to portray the spirit of this great Manchester United Club. Red, white and black is the DNA that Man United is built on. There is a very classic touch to the appearance of the new 2010-2011 Home kit, inspired by the 1970s, and also features a collar for the first time since Nike became the team’s official kit supplier in 2002.

There are three combinations of kits for the home games: red jersey, white shorts and black socks; red jersey, black shorts and white socks; or red jersey, white shorts and white socks depending on the opponents.
The new sponsor Aon's logo is featured as always on the front of the jersey.Inside the jersey on the back of the United crest, the word believe is emblazoned. This is the United mantra which sits next to the heart, giving all United players and fan’s a sense of inner pride. The Red Devil emblem sits on the sleeve of the shirt and shorts, giving the kit an iconic finishing touch.
Overall the new 2010/2011 Home United kit is a big hit with the fans and players and truly personifies the heart and spirit of Manchester United Football Club,
